By default, LawTap sends the following notifications:

Lawyer appointment notifications
1 - SMS notification for confirmation of an appointment booking;  
2 - Email notification for confirmation of an appointment booking; and
3 - SMS reminder of an appointment booking; and
4 - Email reminder of an appointment booking.

Client appointment notifications
1 - SMS reminder of an appointment booking; and
2 - Email reminder of an appointment booking.

Both SMS and Email Appointment Reminders are sent either:

  • 24 hours before the appointment (for appointments booked more than 24 hours in advance), or 
  • 1 hour before the appointment (for appointments booked less than 24 hours in advance).

You can choose what notifications you and your clients receive for each appointment type, simply:

Edit your appointment type(s) and deselect the LawTap notification(s) that you no longer want to receive or send.

In the example below, the lawyer turned off lawyer SMS confirmation and reminder notifications for Phone Call appointments, but will still receive an email confirmation when the appointment is booked and an email reminder before the appointment:
